Effects
Fine-tune, Effects
Gradient fills, lighting, sheen and grain. Use them sparingly: one effect at a time usually looks best behind text.
Gradient fill per shape
Fills each shape with a gradient instead of a flat colour. Gradient angle sets its direction and Fade how far it fades out. Gradient fills cannot share merged paths, so the SVG file gets larger.
Light the facets
For triangles and Delaunay. Each facet gets a slope, and a light shades it, so the pattern reads as a folded or crystal surface. Light from sets the direction (0° is the top, 90° the right), Light height how high the light sits, Relief how steep the facets are and Strength how much the light changes them. Light changes chooses whether light changes each facet's opacity or blends between the first two shape colours.
Sheen
A soft gradient laid over the whole background, like light falling across the section. Linear runs across at the angle you set; Radial glows from the centre. Strength sets how visible it is and Tint its colour.
Grain
A fine noise texture over the pattern, like printed paper. It uses an SVG filter that browsers redraw on every scroll and resize, which can be slow on large sections and on phones. Keep the amount low.
